Happy Birthday Phillip...etc.

Phillip turned 27 last Friday. He got the Lord of the Rings trilogy and some other random knick-knacks as his present for the day. However, on Saturday I had planned a trip to take him whitewater rafting. This went surprisingly well...except for me falling out going over a rapid (my arm, knee, and (didn't know this was possible) butt all have bruises popping up from said fall). We had a TON of fun, but sadly couldn't take the camera with us for the risk of losing it (just like they lost me...and then ran over me). We can't wait to go back!!!

On another note, Phillip's pup is getting to be quite a big boy here lately. This is at Kristin's parents' house this weekend.

I'll Have Mine...TOASTED!

This past weekend we helped Kristin's parents set up for a wedding everyone was attending that night. Kandice, Kristin's youngest sister, was the Maid of Honor for Crystal Pressley. Crystal was a GORGEOUS bride...we had such a great time.

Before the wedding we met Kasey and Adam at the pool to hang out for a bit (two hours). Below are pics of what the two of us looked like at the end of the night after the wedding (please excuse Phillip's lack of shirt, but it was the only way to show how burnt he is).

We have been bad about posting lately, and sadly there isn't an excuse other than laziness. Anyway, here are pictures from the first weekend in May. We went to Florence because Phillip's mom was in a wreck (and we are happy to report that she is doing MUCH better). Phillip's sister could still use prayers...she's been in and out of the hospital since that Saturday.
