Drool Monster

Do they offer college scholarships for drooling because our little guy has become a pro at it!?  Seriously, I hope some teeth come in soon because I think a Saint Bernard would require less clean up than this.  Gotta admit though, he's cute no matter how much drool he has running down his chin!

Grammy Harris' Birthday

Emory decided he wanted to go down to South Carolina and spend some quality time with Grammy for her birthday.  We packed everything up and headed down for a weekend of fun and visiting.  We had such a great time seeing everyone.  Happy birthday to everyone in South Carolina (since you all decided to be born during the first two weeks of August).
Grammy opening her present from Emory.
Emory loves taking walks outside.  Grammy knows just how to make him happy!
So much to see.
Sadly, our little boy is growing up and getting heavy, so I carried him back to Aunt Diane's.  Grammy's arms needed a well-deserved break.
Uncle Chris turned 30 on Sunday.  For his birthday Emory slobbered all over his shirt.  You're welcome, Chris! :-)
Logan loves her baby cousin.  He was trying to carry on a big boy conversation.
Our nieces still expect Uncle Phillip to carry them like they are little.  He is always more than happy to oblige.  :-)
I believe this was approximately 30 seconds before Logan relinquished her baby holding duties to Phillip because Emory started spitting up.  Haha.
Aunt Nicki discovered that Emory loves some Santa.  Look at that face!
That redhead looks like trouble.  I bet Emory can find lots to get into with her!
Little Man loves sucking his fingers now.
...and getting drool all over everything!
I married a 5 year old trapped in a 30 year old's body.  Nice Phillip.  Real nice.
Double chins!
We love our time in South Carolina.  Until next time, we'll miss you all!

Wordless Wednesday

Aunt Sandra flew in from California to meet Emory for the first time!

4 Month Old...Already?!

I have no idea how this has happened, but somehow we have a 4 month old living in our house.  There are no words to express how precious this little man is.  I mean check him out.
These days everything goes in Emory's mouth.  EVERYTHING!
He's trying to sit up like a big boy, but still needs a little help.
Emory loves to smile, but it's hard to catch on camera.  Mama did it though!
His fingers and toes are the best toys!
Over the last two weeks, he's become quite the conversationalist as well!
Aunt Sandra visited and brought Emory TONS of sercies!  This quilt was one of them.  Made with love!  :-)
Sandra even put a patch on with his birth information.  He's so blessed to have her in his life (and so are we).
I hate feet.  All feet.  However, these feet I can't get enough of.  I could kiss them all day long...and often times do.
Emory also loves to stand and try to walk.  He doesn't believe in sitting down for very long.
Melt my heart.
We have the official 4 month doctor's appointment next week, so I'll have some updated stats then.  My bet is that our little man is quickly catching up to others in his age group.  We love you, sweet boy!  We are so blessed to be your mama and daddy!
